Buying a Swing Set for the Holidays

Buying a Swing Set for the holidays is a great present. Typically, the best prices and deals are available at the holidays. A few things to remember if you buy your swing set during the holidays.

  • Make sure when your swing set arrives that you look to make sure all parts have arrived in perfect condition. It is possible for swing sets to get damaged during shipping and shipping claims must be made within a week of delivery. It is in your best interest to ask the delivery driver to go through your entire shipment at time of delivery. This way you can refuse any damaged shipment or at the very least ask, the driver to note any missing pasts or damage on the Bill of Lading.

  • Make sure you have a suitable place prepped for assembly. Depending on which swing set you purchase will determine what type of space you will need. The more level the area is the better.

  • When assembling your swing set, the key is organization. The more organized you can stay the quicker and easier the assembly process will go. We have talked to customers who are able to decrease there assembly time in half by organizing all of their parts prior to assembly

A swing set is the ultimate holiday present for kids. Please contact one of our customer service reps or visit our swing set buyers guide.

What to do when your inflatable gets wet?

If you use your inflatable like we do, then it is going to happen. Your inflatable bouncer is going to get wet. The staff at Bounce Houses Now is asked all the time, what do we do if our bouncer gets wet.

Don't panic. The key is, do not store your inflatable wet. Meaning if you bounce house gets wet, you need to dry it completely before your store it. The quickest way to dry an inflatable is to inflate it fully and allow the sun and air flow to dry the unit completely. If you are not able to put your unit up to dry, move it out of the elements and inflate ASAP. The constant air flow will expedite the drying process.

Keep your questions coming.

Buying A Bounce House for the Holidays

Buying a bounce house can be an intimidating task. There are so many brands and some many products to choose from. Where to begin? We always recommend starting with identifying who the bounce house is for? Typically, residential bounce houses are for children up to 12 years old and under 100 lbs. Like anything else, residential bounce houses come in all types of qualities. Bounce Houses Now carries the highest quality brands such as KidWise, Blast Zone, and island Hopper. All three of these brands offer the same quality and construction whether you are purchasing a $200 inflatable or a $1000 inflatable. Once you determine whether you need a commercial inflatable or a residential inflatable, you need to decided on the features you are looking for. When it comes to residential inflatables, the order the kids are, they tend to enjoy wide open bounce areas of slides. On the flip side, younger kids like the variety that bouncing, sliding and ball pits offer. We will discuss commercial inflatables at a later date.

Bounce House - Residential or Commercial?

With summer right around the corner, it is time to start thinking about summer activities. We often get asked "do we need a residential or commercial unit?" There are so many variables to choosing the correct product. The first step is to determine if you need a residential or commercial product. Residential units are intended for children under the age of 12 and weight of 100 lbs. Please refer to a specific products owners manual to check the exact requirements. If you plan on getting in the bounce house with your children or your children exceeds the requirements you will need to get a commercial unit.

Cleaning Your Bounce House

This is one of the most common questions we receive at Bounce Houses Now. One of the most important tips we have is to never sore your Bounce House while wet. If your Bounce House gets wet, keep the blower running to inflate the bounce house until it dries. The constant air flow will help the bounce house to dry from the inside out.

If your bounce house gets wet, we recommend you consult with your owners manual for specific instructions. In the past, we have found that spot treating is the best method for cleaning your bounce house. This is done by taking a damp cloth over the area you intend to clean. Take a mild detergent soap on another damp cloth and gently rub the area. Then rinse with the original damp cloth. Repeat this process over and over again until the area is sufficiently cleaned. Never hose down the entire unit and try to clean everything. This is not a car. For more information, please visit us at Bounce Houses Now.
